How to buy? An exact listing of animals is NOT AVAILABLE before sale date, as most sellers do not consign their animals in advance, so we have no way of determining what will be offered on sale day. Show up on sale day and see what shows up! All items purchased are subject to a 5% buyers premium. All items are subject to Alberta GST (5%) We accept cash, credit card, debit, etransfer. No CHEQUES. Government ID is required to receive a bidding card. Minors can obtain a card with a parents ID. Admission is $5 per adult, and $3 per child under 12.
How to sell? No pre-consignment is required, however it is recommended to let us know what you plan on bringing to sell, so we can advertise what will be at the sale! Lot numbers will be given in a first come, first serve basis on the morning of sale day. No lot numbers will be given in advance to keep things fair. We start taking entries 7:00am morning of sale day.
All birds and small animals must be brought to the auction in a cage that will sell with the animal. The cage must be sturdy, safe, well constructed, there must be a viewing window, food, water and bedding. Each crate must be labelled accurately as to what is in the crate. Any birds or small animals who arrive in an unsuitable crate will be refused, or the seller will be offered crates at a fee of $20per.
We will have stalls available for all large animals; goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, cattle, donkeys, horses etc. Please assure you arrive with a manifest.
Selling commission is 15% or a minimum charge of $5 per item, whichever is greater, not both.
